My teaching style

I teach in a holistic way so the lessons involve playing by ear and improvising as well as reading from the score.  Making music is at the centre of every lesson and we would play together from the outset.

Each lesson is planned specifically for you.   This ensures a progressive development but also involves your own personal choice.   The music we work on reflects your particular ability and personal preference but I encourage a wide range of musical styles from Baroque to Jazz and contemporary music.
